Sprinkles has vegan cupcakes!

Sprinkles now has vegan cupcakes! They are one of, if not the most popular places in Los Angeles to buy cupcakes from, and I always felt left out when people bought them - no longer a problem!

Here are the details:

• What flavor: red velvet (currently the only flavor)
• Where: according to a rep, they are "available in all our stores, every day of the week!" (click here for locations across the country)
• According to VegNews Sprinkles uses "100-percent recycled materials for its packaging, and since its opening in 2005, the company has donated $1.3 million to local and international charities"
• According to L.A. Times they are "made with soy milk, tofu-based cream cheese and pure coconut oil"

Speaking of vegan cupcakes, Yummy Cupcakes announced that they are going to start selling vegan cupcakes everyday now! In the past, they were only available a few times a week. YAY!

Word on the street is that Seed Kitchen is bringing back their cupcakes too. : )

Do It Gorgeously - Sophie Uliano at T Salon

Today I went to an event at the T Salon in West Hollywood. I have been to the cafe/store before and really enjoyed it - almost all of their desserts are vegan, the building is very eco-friendly, and their tea is fabulous (video review coming soon). I wasn't sure what the event was going to be like, but I was excited because there was going to be a demo on how to make organic skin care products. I was also intrigued after hearing rave reviews of the book Gorgeously Green, so I looked forward to learning about Do It Gorgeously. The event turned out to be fantastic!
